Re: Looking for a 27 ft Baja, Formula, Fountain, Sunsation etc.

Did you try offshoreonly classifieds? Can i suggest checkmate or pantera at that size range? Much better build quality than those listed.

Re: Spring

Check the dates on your flares. Keep the old ones on the vessel in a container marked "out of date". Put each PFD on and see it is still a PFD! Yup, that water is cold right now, but it would...

You simply can not make anything idiot-proof.

Re: 15% Ethanol Approved

USDA reported low corn crop, corn prices jumping, and beef harvesters have stopped, almost. I'm having a hard time finding trim for next week. This whole thing is bullshit. I get at least 10% better...

Re: Florida residents, look what the anti`s posted

I bet the crime rate goes down, and the criminals move to someplace where the citizens are not allowed to protect themselves.

Re: Depth Finder questions

Well that would really suck - I'd need at least 4,840 feet for a 30 second measurement. Practicality comes in to play.

Re: Manuals, need emails

Bt, it won't help. Layers of corporate a-wipes on top of other layers of a-wipes, with dotted lines to even more corporate a-wipes ends up with this sort of crap. They give a crap about consumers....

Re: Rain rain rain ...

Guys, I'm in a different boat than you (ha, a pun!). Lake Michigan is down about 9" from last year. We need water! I hope it rains until July. Turns off until Halloween, then snows and rains until...

Mr BT - need a part looked up

Hello BT Can you check if any other part number updates or interchanges with a Mercury "47370a" or a-1? This is a bellows for a SSMIII or SSMIV. Maybe more. I've heard early alphas too. Or better...

Re: I went boating last Friday May 7th.

Yup, 42" with middle drive up. We had to dredge and repair our collapsed sea wall 3 years ago. Between the two, over $140,000 in work. The river is brutal. I'm fairly confident the sand will wash...

Re: I went boating last Friday May 7th.

I went out too. To find a deep enough path to our slips. The best I could find was 3 ft depth. Sure hope the lake comes up soon, or we get a bunch of rain so the sand gets washed out to the lake.

Re: QESTION I HAVE ABOUT A 18FOOT BASS BOAT

If the bay is flat, and there is no weather predicted, and the entire region is under a high pressure dome, go for it. But I would not go out in anything over a foot, or with any weather front...

Re: Tansom Height and Engine Selection

I am taking a guess here - guys with short outboard drives need a lower transom, and guys with long need a higher transom. Since the engine is in the way of everything back there, I like more...

Re: My latest boat

Too bad that happened. If you are using the same block, I'd take it completely apart, including all the oil passage plugs, dip the thing, and then hand clean every square mm of it, to make sure...

Re: Ok, got a pic of my kayak

We had a Royak brand ocean kayak when we had a boat in Ventura Ca. My wife was scooting around the harbor one day when a "playfull" sea lion decided to bump her a few times. I had to sell the thing...

Where's the engines?
I would so fall out of that! Especially if I had a fish at the end of a line. Would be a fun ride though!

Yup, but remember, those trunks could hold 8 or 9 goodfellas easily. Like an old New Yorker that has what, 10 feet of trunk (or so it seemed).

The front hitch makes a lot of sense. Makes for a...

Re: HAY GUYS

An F650 "Tonka Truck" would tow that baby nicely.............

Seriously, I think you'll be ok so long as those tires don't make it into the slime and your parking brake is in A1 condition.
