Transom Leak

I've got a 1996 Rinker with an Alpha 1 V6 mercruiser. I seem to have developed a water leak in the transom. I could hear it running in, but could not see where it was coming from. I pulled the sterndrive thinking it was the bellows... It's not...Can't find where the water is getting in.... Any suggestions??

Check the shift boot for damage or tears. The plate on the bottom of the transom where the hyd hoses come together, the exaust Y pipe, and worst case the transom housing is holed.
Check the pipe by pulling 1 riser, plug up the exaust at the gimbal including the 2 side vents, fill the Y pipe.

First I'd like to thank you for the advise...! I did check out the shift boot and it seems fine. I am going to check the Y pipe as suggested this weekend. I'll let you know...
