Hey everyone....haven't been here in a while since I sold my boat this spring(I know, I know....dumb move) at the time, I was supposed to be moving west to the prairies where I'd have to drive 4-5 hrs to find water deep enough to launch any kind of boat. Now, I'm staying put and have started looking around at a few boats in town i know will be for sale in the spring. My buddy has a 16 ft tri-hull with a 70hp Johnson. I know the boat's history. It's an early 80's fiberglass and has seen regular maintenance at the dealer. It does run like a champ. Was out in it last weekend. But not in rough water.
Now, my question is....how are the tri-hulls in the rough water? I've heard that they have a tendency to slap the waves and ride rough. I have a chance at buying it in the spring for a good price.(which is a good thing because I will be going through a divorce around that time) So, I plan on celebrating the joyous event by spending as much time out at camp on the water as I can next summer.
