TRENTON, Maine — Hinckley Yachts plans to let go 26 additional employees within the week, according to a report from WABI news in Maine. Company officials tell the station that if the economy doesn't improve, they may have to shut down their Trenton plant altogether.

The company has enough orders to keep the Trenton plant going through February, Hinckley's President and CEO James McManus tells WABI.

This is the third round of layoffs at Hinckley since October. The total jobs lost now stands at 100.
