STEVENSVILLE, Md. – United States Yacht Shows, Inc., producer of the Bay Bridge Boat Show – April 23-26 at Stevensville on Kent Island, Md. – has created a new show within the show called “Outdoor Living” that will feature "cartop" boats, which can be put in or on an automobile, organizers reported in a release Friday.

The goal is to introduce the non-boater into entry level, affordable and green boating and the section will feature not only kayaks, canoes, small day sailors and inflatables, but accessories including clothing, safety equipment, camping gear, car racks, etc., according to Bonnie Seidelmann, director of marketing for United States Yacht Shows, Inc.

Sheila Jones, assistant show manager, said one unique feature of the Outdoor Living section “will be ongoing seminars that will answer the novice's questions about when, where, why and how to get into boating." At the end of each seminar, a seminar guide will accompany attendees to the outdoor section, giving vendors an opportunity to talk to them about their products. Attendees will also be able to participate in in-water boating demonstrations
