90 HP Force problem

Starter got so it would turn up to compression and stall w/ batt showing 12.3 volts. Checked ALL connections, finally removed starter(almost decided they built the motor around the starter-LOL!!) and disassembled it. Found bushings were dry but still in good condition, everything else inside looked good. Greased them up, reassembled and reinstalled it. Now it spins like it oughta !!!!!
Also found a 10-24 screw was missing from the top tilt pin that retains the pin. Just thought I'd pass this along for other Force owners so you don't go and buy a new batt that isn't needed.
