ROCKAWAY, N.J. — Pettit Marine Paint has developed its own "economic stimulus package" for customers in the form of a $20 rebate, it said in a statement this week.

Customers are eligible receive a $20 per gallon manufacturer mail-in rebate with the purchase of up to two gallons of Pettit antifouling paints. Purchases must be made before May 31 and rebate request forms are due by June 15, according to the company.

Along with request forms, customers must send a dated receipt and the UPC code from the paint’s label, the company said. Rebate forms are available at pettitpaint.com/20bucksback, and checks will be sent in about 6 to 8 weeks.

"We see how difficult it is out there everyday for boaters and yards," said Pettit General Manager John Ludgate. "This rebate is our way of giving back to our dedicated customers."
