On my 8.1's it was on the back of the engine on the RH side. Plug was just hanging there.

My 30ft boat sunk in front of the cottage, muskrat ate bellows., The pump kept up until the drive pin broke. Insurance paid 25k to repair. It was still a very frustrating experience. The new boat is v drive and less prone to muskrat Damage but still want to ensure it's protected.

How do you identify the model number of the Porthole? I want to replace the screen. Bomar has 615 and 618, how can you determine which one you have. Is the 15 and 18 the lenght?
