A minor flaw in there design of coil mounting at the rear of an engine. Water from washing,wave action ,rain,etc that get on the coil starts to rust and swell the lamination's resulting in a no spark condition. Should this happen inspect the steel lamination's for rust and swelling. Any GM coil...

I flush and fog the engine , come back the next day drain and fill. Much easier to probe the drain to insure draining when cool

To those using this quick crack method of sucking the AF in let all of us know how it worked out for you. Unless you drain everything first your at risk for failure.
