Does any one know if the pre vortex roller lifters are the same as the vortex i have a 1994 4.3 meracruse serial no OF280108 and i have a couple of lifters stuck open will not collapse that i need to replace from what i can find out the part number is 811844 the problem i am having is the lifters are 128.00 each but i have found some after market lifters that say they cross over but they say fits vortex motor and i know my engine is a pre vortex it looks as though it is what the call a gen II and was only made for 3 or 4 years ....i am not trying to cheep out but i am not putting 1200.00 + into lifters i might as well buy a long block .....any help would be appreciated
