    Stuck Drive Unit

I would never attempt to pull an outdrive off with something as crude as a chain and tractor. Using wedges and pry bars, you can generate more force between the two surfaces than tugging on it with a tractor, all while having precise feel and control where that pressure is being applied.

    Carpet replacement: 2004 Sunesta 252

I replaced the cockpit carpet in my 350 with "seagrass" vinyl from snapin. They already had the pattern and fit was perfect. It's so much nicer than the original fiber carpet. It does get hot when in the direct sun - a quick spray witht the swim platform shower fixes it.

    INSTRUMENT PANEL IS DIMLY LIT

I have a 2003 Sig350. Here is a link to the wiring diagram (and the rest of the boat, actually). I'd imagine the dash/helm wiring is pretty similar between models of the same age. Specifically look at page 107 for the switch panel, and note the dimmer switch and the dimmer module...

    Chapparal 350\370 replacement fridge

I did not. I still have the original. If/when it dies, I'll put something like the 130 in. I might replace the ice maker in the cockpit with another fridge, though.

    Chapparal 350\370 replacement fridge

Good question. I think the newer cruise 130 will fit, as the lower galley ( fridge / drawers / big cabinet) didn't change in 07. It looks like only the layout on the coutertop ie the coffee maker and sliding cabinets were changed after 07. I can measure the old one when I'm at the boat this week.

    Chapparal 350\370 replacement fridge

Pre-2007, the wood-faced fridge was an isotherm 1012002 2007 and beyond it was an isotherm cruise 130 (stainless door and trim).

    Steering wheel bolt pattern

Cool thanks, now if I had the center to center distance I could figure out the pitch circle. Heading to boat this weekend. I will update this post later as it might be useful for someone. It appeared to be 1", unless it's metric. If you need it sooner, I'll be there again tomorrow.

    V350 Tachometer, sync intermittent issue

2003 as well. The 2003 5.7 GXI-E engines were, in my case, MEFI-4. You'll have to verify what what version of MEFI your ECM is, although I'm not sure if the 8.1mercs even used MEFI. But otherwise, I converted all systems on my boat to nmea 2000. Each engine has a gateway, which are connected...
