Yes all that has been replaced, I’m thinking it could be the ign switch. Like I said it fires right up but as soon as I let go of the key it stalls like it was shut off..

Trailer has rollers, “boat to trailer” is some what like a semi hitch pad. I’ll post a picture later today. Heading out to go fishing with my grandson, in my other boat of course..on another note he always out fishes me..

Maiden voyage this past weekend and had an issue 2 times. Went to start it and it would start and as soon as I let go of the key it shut off. Did this a couple times then after a couple try’s it started and ran fine. Any ideas? 2004 chaparral with a Merc 5.0 with a carburetor

Yea that was the issue as I had the trailer in the water to far.. I have a “boat 2 trailer” hitch that I need to install and hope that makes it a bit easier next time..
