Wow!! Lake Erie is expected to vanish in a lot of the western basin tomorrow. This could end up being one of the biggest events in recent memory. The water is expected to drop 6 feet compared to current levels. This will expose the lakebed in the western basin tomorrow late afternoon/evening...
Wow Denny. So sorry to read about your girl. Dang it man. That is sad. At least you know and admit when it's time to move on but boy that has to be one of the toughest things ever to do. Sorry man.
Boat is winterized and put away. So looking for other things to get into. Found a good one.
Today we traveled to Clay WVand experienced Rail Explorers first hand. What a fun time. We were there in Sept but it was raining so we got a rain check. The colors were close to peak today so we...

Donations have dried up. Nothing at all. I am so thankful for the two who have stepped up and donated. My hats off to you. Those who already donated are appreciated more than you might realize.

Hey guys and gals, it's that time again. Here I am with hat in hand.
This is the one time each year I ask for help with forum costs.

Good for you. Kudos.
For me the boating season is over. Thursday I tow my boat to the shop to have it winterized. Sad. One of the worst summers for boating here. I put less than 20 hours on my girl.
Nice. And your boating season is just starting isn't it? How long is your boating season?
So many are going to outboards instead of inboard outboard engines. Some with 4 or 5 outboards. Shocking to this old boater.
I think this one is stern mount but not sure if it will push your boat 5mph.

I had a little piece on the bottom of mine broke off. thought of covering it but like you, I preferred not to drill into it.
So I ran with it broken. Negligible impact. No difference. So I left it that way for 500+ hours of running. No prob.
I boat on the Ohio River. I could clear the speedo pickup but before the day was out it would be plugged again. RPM's give me a good idea but I looked for a better option. I bought a GPS speedo. Livorski. Works great.
