I have found a few bad grounds on my Chap. You might want to just get under the dash and find the common ground lugs and clean then tighten them up. The other end of the dash harness is grounded somewhere on the engine block as well, might take soem looking but it should be top of the engine...

ITs done. 30lbs resistance is perfect!

I pulled it off, looked up the part number from attwood and found it was rated at only 10lbs. Ordered one rated at 30lbs and I believe that should fix my issue.

There is a button to disconnect the drive mechanism from the throttle on the side that you press to activate. Does this work ok? Have you looked at it?

Just a followup here. Pulled both drives and replaced the bellows. bearings are fine. One drive bellow had started to leak a little water so it was good to be ahead of that. Did the orings and greased everything up per the mtce sched. Both came apart easily. As for putting them back I did not...
