    NMEA 2000, Simrad, etc. (2004 Sunesta 252)

I don't thing you need to set the sending unit to point to a devices. Most likely, and true with Simrad. On the receiving unit. you need to pick the device you want the data from. In my case, I have 2 sonar transducers and 2 devices that give GPS locations. I had to pick which device to take...

I always kept it stocked. So I would not have to bring down the condiments and other stuff.

    Fridges and Grills

I don't use my grill that often. But that's me.. As to the fridge, more facts are needed. You must do the math. How many amp does the fridge use? How many amp hours are you 2 batteries? Now add in what you will use in one day. Without that info, your question can not be answered. Just an FYI...

    Cockpit Heater

You are better off coming off the engine. No different than a hot water heater found on most boats. Cut a hose and put the heater in line. This works great with a closed cooling system. On a open system, its going to run a little cooler. The only electric ones run off of 120v. Which means...

    NMEA 2000, Simrad, etc. (2004 Sunesta 252)

Videos, I would do a You Tube search. Just an FYI - I have no experience with Merc. If I was having a problem, the first thing I would do is download the latest firmware to both Simrad and Smart Craft equipment. From there you'll need a Mercury VesselView Link or SmartCraft Connect module...

Stern bilge pump blowing circuit breaker on 2014 31 Signature

Its all on the weather. It can be like glass, but normally we are traveling in in 1 ft or less seas. But it happens, we can hit 2 to 3 foot waves. Buzzards Bay coming out of the Cape Cod Canal gets a little crazy due the tides moving back and forth. Its not uncommon to stay put for a day or two...

Stern bilge pump blowing circuit breaker on 2014 31 Signature

North is up in the Pic. The blue line is my route. Block Island is to the N.E. My route stops at Sag Harbor, the triangles are the boats with AIS with is clouding the chart up. 3 Mile Harbor is to the right of Sag Harbor. It was about a 150 mile run from Boston. We did stop at Cuttyhunk for 2...

    2004 Signature 260 In-Line Fuel Filter?

I would follow the fuel line from the tank. If you one, than there is none. I had a Sig 290, I added a Racor filters to each engine. I wanted to make sure that dirt and water never reaches the engines. This is what I added, but thats me...

Stern bilge pump blowing circuit breaker on 2014 31 Signature

I would first clean the pump. Something may be causing the impeller not to spin. I suggest to always carry a spare pump. South shore of L.I. I went to Sag and 3 Mile Harbor by boat 2 weeks ago.

2006 Sunesta 236 I want to replace the gauges

Most gauges are off the shelf stuff. You just need to match the specs of the old to new. I will use fuel a gauge as an example. Some are rated 0-30ohms or 0-90ohms. Some have a switches to match the sending unit. It really depends on what you pick. Do you have analog or digital? Around 2010...

2013 330 Signature Freshwater Pump Location

I would fellow the supply line off the tank. That should take you to it.

which trolling motor should i get

I always try to go big. Tolling motors for a main engine really don't do well. Something like this would be a better solution. https://defender.com/en_us/torqeedo-440w-tiller-electric-outboard-motor-travel-903c Its light, shows battery status and more. But pricy. Don't forget, with a trolling...

    Bent Skeg?

I had the same problem years ago. They do make a bolt on repair skag. Or at lest they did 10 years ago. If you try to bend back, you will weaken it. I bent mine back and cut off the the rough edges. Then bolted the new one one. It was more like a sleeve or cover...

    Look what I found!

After dark, personal I would not go faster than 3 to 5 knots. Just for that reason. About 4 or 5 years ago I boat hit a fixed nav buoy in Boston Harbor. One dead and the rest in the hospital. The boat, almost nothing left of it. At night its very easy to misjudge distance, shapes..... More so...

    Starting issue a couple times

You could clean and check the connections at the key switch. Sorry, you did not mention that the plugs...... where replaced.

    Starting issue a couple times

I would start simple. Have you changed your fuel filters? Having a 2004 boat, ask your self when was the last time plugs, cap, rotor and wires were changed?
