I'm with Doc. Check the fuel pump pressure. Don't understand the tach, all it does is monitor RPM's. Can you explain why? Good luck, please keep us posted, it may help someone else.

I think that the new technology is great. Except when something stops working, and the average joe doesn't have a clue, because he doesn't have the equipment needed to diagnose the issue, so we go hunting and pecking to see if we can find the problem. Good luck, hope it doesn't end up as a trip...

I don't lift it, my windlass does all the work. I don't jump over the windshield as well as I use to. Lol

I have four 20ft tie off lines. I have 150 ft of anchor line, the first 100 ft of it is chain,. It works better than braided line on my windlass, no slippage.

I do not have the answers to that. However a good marine canvas shop that has worked with those materials should be able to give you the pros and cons to help you decide which one will work best for you.
