Denny--pedestal seat slider needs repair/replacement

Hey Denny,
My captains chair slider is dismantling itself. I assume yours is the same as mine. I was going to have it welded back together but I was told it probably wouldn't hold up. I looked at Amazon and found this: https://www.amazon.com/ONHI-Aluminu...106&sprefix=aluminum+ped,aps,157&sr=8-32&th=1

I wanted to get your opinion before I order it. It looks correct. What do you think?

That is pot metal, and i don't know if it can be welded. I have my original one, not sure what it would cost to ship it, but you are welcome to it. It will probably be of better quality. Does the one that you are looking at come with free shipping?
