evnrude 150 1995 starved for gas

need help!!!i have a 1995 evinrude 150 motor runs sweet for 5 to 10 minutes then i have to pump the priming bulb and it comes back to life.i have changed the fuel tank pickup the vro fuel pump still same problem .can anyone help!!
 
I had a similar problem with an inboard. It was the fuel pump. Heck, I don't even know if outboards have a fuel pump? :confused:
 
hey doc thank you will try that again this is the second fuel pump the first one could have been falty!!here we go again
 
Kewl. Good luck.
You can get a tool to measure fuel pressure, so that you do not replace a good fuel pump. Might save you some work if the fuel pump is not bad.
 
Yamaha`s have 2 fuel pumps, Doc.
You run from a portable tank or inhull type.?
might be a anti-syphon at the tank thats clogged a bit.
