I just had a big stereo installed in my 2010 Chaparral Sunesta. I had a Garmin Fusion head unit installed in the existing Clarion stereo location. I dont really like not having good access to my stereo. I also am not hip on the remote. I want to move the Fusion head unit to the location where some Garmin GPS were installed in the center of the dash. Mine has the blanking plate installed. (no gps) Has anyone done this yet? Is it strong enough? Were there any problems encountered? (The stereo I had installed is a Garmin Fusion RA-670, 4 10" JL M6 Free Air Subs, 4 8.8" JL M6 speakers, 2 WetSounds 6.5" Revo 6 speakers. I only have 2 amps a JL and a SoundStream.) When I really crank it will make water vibrate! There not a tower everything is mounted in the boat. Most of the equipment came from the installers demo boat.
