Has anyone here done one? Don’t look that difficult but looks like I need some special tools to get it done. I worked on car for 25 years between dealers both American (GM Dealer) and foreign repair garage..I’m really not afraid to tackle just about anything.
Looks like I have a alpha one gen 2 unit..

Have you looked on youtube? Put in your make, model, and year, and ask how to do it. You should be able to find it there.
 
There’s a lot of vids out there doing this job. I stoped in a marina to just ask ‘how much’
He’s telling me $1500 to $2000. Yep I’m going to tackle this if I need to.
