Another medical delay in launching this season

Oh yeah. Now that I’m on my feet and nice weather returns, I can get out side and start walking. Just being home makes all the difference.

Another medical delay in launching this season

Well, the past couple of days have been kinda bumpy. Back to the ER a couple of times. Fortunately that issue has been resolved and I’m home. Catheter has been removed and I seem to have retained control. Which was worrisome. For now, it’s just a slow path for the incisions to heal.

Another medical delay in launching this season

That’s what I’m gambling on. A reasonably lengthy summer.

Another medical delay in launching this season

Late last year it was discovered that my PSA went over the limit…4.5. After further testing they found cancer in the prostate gland. I just had robotic surgery with total removal and now in recovery mode. Definitely no fun at all. Anticipating a somewhat long recovery I called my storage guy...

    My Girl, Show & Tell

At my dad’s cottage along Lake Erie in Canada was the same policy. Wash in the lake. But they did have an indoor shower. Heavy duty sulfur stink. Eventually they got various filters which made it tolerable.

Yeah buffets are phenomenal, and it takes immense discipline to not go crazy. You just finished knee replacement.....you don't want to go through heart valve replacement. Behave young man! BTW...nice beach pictures. I haven't been on a nice beach since last year.

1987 Chaparral 198C Owner - Difficulty of Aluminum Fuel Tank Swap?

Welcome aboard and happy to have an additional owner. I own an 87 Chap 235XLC [Cuddy]. I have not replaced my tank. No leaks. But I did replace the filler pipe and modified the vent line. I didn't want to rip up the floor as was recommended by other owners. I didn't pull the old filler line...

    Body Of Water

The Niagara River is absolutely jammed with ice now as it gets pushed over the ice boom. This includes the Black Rock Canal where rowing takes place above the lock. This link show's the ice boom at the entrance to the Niagara River. If you look at this at the time I posted this, you won't see a...

    Buffalo boat shows-2

For some strange reason, we had two boat shows within 10 days of each other. The first show was something like 90% pontoon boats, 5% fishing boats and 5% power boats. No Chaparral's. But there was one boat there I liked. A Sea Ray 320a. It had a lot of stand up room including the...

    Body Of Water

I am in the eastern half of Lake Erie. I also have the Upper Niagara River. There are three ways to get to the Lower Niagara River: 1-Welland Canal 2-Trailer to Lewiston or Fort Niagara 3-shortest and most direct-over the brink of the Niagara Falls 😁 outcome is poor. Much worse than Haulover...

Weather tuns on you? In Lake Erie? Never happen! hahaha In all seriousness, I try to make my own forecast and anticipate when Lake Erie is going to turn. Then I'll decide "weather" to go out or not BEFORE it's too late. It's the pilot/aviation thing that's in me. I kinda operate my boat...

    Boating License

My solution is not even bother going out in 2 foot waves [with my size boat anyways]. But a clam cleat would definitely make it easier.

BTW...just finished the exam. Scored 59 out of 60. No recurrent courses for NYS. So happy that it's out of my way. ONE LONG BLAST!

As the old saying goes, and it's applicable to various situations, Size does Matter. If you have a tight bend to navigate, then one LONG blast. Or:
