Blower issues on '18 signature 330

If the switch totally is removed from the wiring, then they are getting their power from another wire that is powered by that same breaker. Can you trace the wiring from the fans back to the breaker? Do you have a test light? I am no electrician, this the only way that I know how to troubleshoot.

To me it sounds like it maybe the switch. I would bypass the switch. It could be that the contacts are stuck in the on position.

    Fridges and Grills

I did not know that they made a 12 V that big. Mine is 110 V, that is one of the reasons I added an inverter. Does it tell the amp draw?

    Fridges and Grills

Nice job on everything. Yes leds are brighter I redid mine completely, except my gauge lights. I think the fridge looks good, the main thing is that it is going to stay put. Wishing you safe travels and good water.

    Cockpit Heater

Like Iggy said, make your own, I did. Being in the automotive trade, it was easy for me. I got 2 heater cores and a squirrel cage type fan and made a box to put them in. Added 2 water lines 1 going with a pump from the manifold and 1 returning to the exhaust. I mounted mine under my helm seat...

    Fridges and Grills

I have a power inverter, a small George Foreman Grille, and a small fridge. Which work well for day trips, and shore power at night. The key for me is to start with 4 of those blocks that you can freeze and put them on the top shelf, and don't open the door anymore than you have to. I remember...

So many times waves would hit the side of the boat and we would get soaked. Lol, yes but that is part of small boat, boating. I too have wished for more free board at times. You have the best of both worlds, a boat and a portable floating cottage. Life is good, may you always have good water...

    My Girl, Show & Tell

Sounds like a real labor of love. I did body work for 50 years, and to this day hated working with fiberglass, makes me itch just thinking about it. Looking forward to seeing all of your labors. If you go through my posts, you will be able to see my girl's transformation. I have been up in some...

Would you tow this boat with that truck?

Ya, that was a lot of fun. Then it as a 94 chevy S-10 Blazer, which was a little better. Then a 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee. After that was a 05 GMC Acadia Now today I have a 012 all drive Acadia, which pulls it and stops it very will. I'm on 99% flat ground, my only hill is an overpass. Max speed 55...

    My Girl, Show & Tell

Hey Drew, thank you for the post. Sounds like you really have it together. Even the pros don't get the color perfect, but 20 ft away you will never see the difference. It would be neet to see before and after if you have any pictures. Curious, which of (my) Great Lakes are you going to visit...

Wow! that is quite an adventure, how were the seas? How much open water did you have? Your world is so different from mine, yes we have bad weather and rough seas, but I can always see land. No matter which direction I go, I will hit land sooner or later, unless I go over the falls.:( By the...

Not familiar with that. Is there a way of showing us what that entails? It sounds like it is an interesting voyage. What waters were you on?

    2004 Signature 260 In-Line Fuel Filter?

Mine is just a simple inline one that I change out every couple of years. I check out the old one to see if it has picked up anything, so far after 33 years, it has always been clean. i It is mounted about 12-18 inches before the separator.

    My Girl, Show & Tell

Thanks Doc for reposting this thread, it brings back a lot of good memories of things that members have posted. Back in 92 when I first got my girl, in my Mercruiser owners manual it said that my engine would run on 87 octane. But to be guaranteed 87 octane, I should use 89 octane, so I have all...

My guess would be a short circuit in the pump. If it were mine I would replace it.
