Bilge pump - what type

What is everyone using for a bilge pump? Previous boat had an old school diaphragm pump. I liked that it had a filter and screen. New boat has an automatic Rule. Thinking of changing it to the diaphragm type.

I have had great service from my Rule pumps.
One to bring in sea water to my A/C unit.
The other saved my girl when I forgot to put in the drain plug:bonk:

On my last boat since it was outdrives, twin engines. I added two 1000 gph pumps. My thoughts were that if just one boot were to let go. The two bilge pumps that came with the boat would never keep up. One 1000 gph and a 500 gph in the bow. Cheap insurance.

My 30ft boat sunk in front of the cottage, muskrat ate bellows., The pump kept up until the drive pin broke. Insurance paid 25k to repair. It was still a very frustrating experience. The new boat is v drive and less prone to muskrat Damage but still want to ensure it's protected.
