Do you take you dog boating?

We have a Great Dane now and she's never been on any of our boats. We used to have a miniature weenier dog who rode in our open bow four winns like a pro. I'll have to dig out some pics......

I used to take my dogs with me when I went fishing...........open 14ft fishing boat. Don't have any dogs anymore.

My brother one time though...........was out in the boat with his little mutt coming in to the dock when the dog decided to jump out from the bow of the boat. Went right under the boat and hit the prop on the engine..............wasn't a pretty site......

Many years ago (before the boat) my brother and I shared a Black Lab. Best friend I ever had. After both of them passing long ago and now in recovery, it’s time to get another dog. I need to wait a little longer as I don’t want a dog that will drag me around.
I figure a lab is a good dog for swimming with or without the boat.
