Howdy all-
I picked up a very clean 2007 Chaparral 236 SSI from the original owner with low hours (255) for a great price.
For whatever reason he removed the engine vent covers and discarded them.
I called Chaparral and while they are very helpful we ended up at a dead end, no longer available and the original vendor closed during COVID.

Anybody have any possible ideas where I could source some?

Thank you

Your girl is 18 and I think your only choice is to look into boat junk yards. Or maybe an add on ebay or craigs list.
Do you know what years they fit.? Last choice is to get creative.

No boat junk yards in Colorado- any notable ones worth looking at?
Anybody know if boat salvage yards are networked like automotive ones are?

I would focus on the south eastern seaboard if it were me. I think that they have more weather related salvage for what you are looking for.
You could ask the ones that you call about networking. One of the things that will help is the number of years they fit and what models they fit.
That will broaden your search. Another thing is to check the local area that Chap is made. When I bought my arch, Chap had, had an auction and I got the name of a local guy that had bought 2. You might see if they have had on in the near past to include your model. Sometimes there are people that buy up a bundle of that stuff for resale as new old stock. Your pieces are out there, you just need to find them. Good luck!
