Looking at a 2007 Chaparral 280. The boat has a generator but hasn’t run in years. One motor rebuilt with 275 hrs Other motor original with 675 hrs. Fresh water boat. Any thoughts. Previous boat a cobalt 250. Thanks in advance

Sounds good. At least there are some hours on the new motor. It's broke in.
If it runs out good on your test run I'd suggest having it surveyed and if that is okay go for it. A survey saved me from a big mistake, and it cost less than $500 at the time. So worth it before making a big purchase. Good luck.
