The sign is to prevent people from driving down the ramp and turning around at the water line and blocking traffic.

I'm luck. My ramp is 1/2 mile long and 12 lanes wide. Plenty of room to turn around at the bottom.

12 lanes???!!!! Where to you boat? I have a single lane with a sharp bend in it. No one can even think of heading down and turning on the ramp. LOL

I believe it is Lake Powell. The last time I was there, the ramp did not look like an airplane landing strip.
