Wall carpet has fallen-How do I get it back up?

After sitting “neglected “ for nearly two years the wall carpet in the cuddy has fallen. I’m not certain what is the best way to get it back up and keep it up. Also, this side of the boat gets a lot of sun so the wall is hot through most of the afternoon. Any suggestions?

They make a general spray adhesive that will work.
Protect the areas that you do not want any glue on.
Make sure that your carpet is flexible and you can roll it back on the hull.
Spray a nice even coat on the exposed area of the hull.
Do the same on the back side of the carpet.
Let it set for a minute or so until both are tacky.
Then start evenly, rolling the carpet up from the bottom, using about a 6 in piece of 2x4, applying pressure as you go.
This is the way that I have done it.
Larger area, larger block of wood.

Thanks. I searched the web and found this at Harbor Freight. Is this acceptable?

That should work.
You can run a test on something else first to see.
Pictures and let us know how you make out.
Could be helpful to someone else.

Finally got this off my list. Here are a few pics:

Prep to see if my remaining bunk wood would fit and hold the carpet. Plus the fan blasting away with fresh air.
