So now we get to find out who did their winterizing correctly and who didnt
I hope everyone followed the directions and made it thru winter.
The ones with the single point drain system need to be very cautious anout clogged engine block drains.
Winterizing tip to prevent cracked blocks

This only applies to those equipped with single point drain systems. This is the 3rd boat that I have found the block drains "blocked" with scale.
You MUST remove the quick connect hose and probe the engine block drain holes ...
To those who desire to do it themselves a bit of caution.
DRAIN EVERYTHING FIRST, then introduce the A/F if you desire.
Failure to follow precise direction will get you a cracked block come springtime.
Enjoy the Holidays
Well, another boating season comes to an end and a luck would have it some of us lived, died, and sunk, but some had a wonderfull year of boating.
To a Safe and Enjoyable Holiday Season.
Be Safe Everybody!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For those impossible to find deck or fishbox drain get a thru hull fitting and a friendly machinist with a lathe . machine the flange down and the diameter and your set. the thread just happens to be the same as the plastic fitting used.
Well, almost. Still a bit of snow in the Northeast today. Striper season should be starting in about 3 weeks or so.
Wish Everyone a Safe Boating Season:cheers::beer:
