5.0 with a B1 or a B2...not completely sure. the speedo is not working and the pitot hole is clear. The issues lies at the top of the drive unit it seems.
I can identify the hose which comes from the transom and goes to a plastic piece which is mounted to the inside and seems to be fine. From the plastic piece there is another short piece of tubing that isnt attached to anything. I cant get a visual on what is down inside that area below the tubing but I can feel some type of nipple that I thought maybe the tube got inserted into...not happening does not fit. also feels like there is a piece of plastic broken off inside the end of the tubing.
I am having a little bit of trouble finding a picture of what that short tube attaches to but I think it may be something that is installed over the nipple that I can feel.
The boat is in its slip and I would much prefer to do this repair on the water as opposed to pulling it out because it seems like a very simple fix with the correct part.
Any direction will be greatly appreciated!!!
