which trolling motor should i get

i'm new at this boating thing and just bought my very first boat. it's a plastic 11ft jon boat and i'm looking for a trolling motor for it. the boat is 180 lbs, and it can carry up to 1300 lbs. With three people and all the fishing equipments, that's another 500lbs +/- 20lbs. I want a trolling motor that is under $1500 and can still go 5MPH at max speed carrying all the above. Any ideas?

If a trolling motor comes in the same amount of volt and thrust but you had to choose between a normal shaft length and a long shaft length; which would you choose and why?

will a motor with 12v, 86+ thrust go faster than a 12v 1HP, or 24v with 55 thrust?

Have you thought about the size battery/s needed vs its time in use? Also recharging?

Where will you be using this boat at? When you start adding people and equipment that tend to get crowded, and smaller.
