Another medical delay in launching this season

Late last year it was discovered that my PSA went over the limit…4.5. After further testing they found cancer in the prostate gland. I just had robotic surgery with total removal and now in recovery mode. Definitely no fun at all.

Anticipating a somewhat long recovery I called my storage guy and told him it would be early June before I get it. I can’t treat the bottom by climbing around the axles so why bother bringing home. Plus piece of mind not worrying about the neighbor. Real nice guy. 🤧

So, like being in the hospital, I wait.

Ah man. Sorry SST. That sucks. At least you'll be able to get at it in June and have 10 weeks or more of potential time on the water. Best wishes.

That’s what I’m gambling on. A reasonably lengthy summer.

Sorry to hear. Here's hoping for a quick recovery.

My wife is having hip surgery in two weeks with a ~6 month recovery. I foresee a few trips by myself this year but not many...

Quality boat rides over quantity boat rides. Best wishes for you and your wife with a positive recovery.

Not bad. Knee is still tight but it works. Still some pain but not enough to take pain pills. Dr said this is all normal. It's takes a year for the knee replacement pains to go away. Just about half way there. LOL

Great! We use to say no pain no gain. Stay positive.

Wishing everyone a speedy and healthy recovery. As much as I’m sure it hurts the boat will always be there. Take care of yourself and loved ones firsts.

Well, the past couple of days have been kinda bumpy. Back to the ER a couple of times. Fortunately that issue has been resolved and I’m home. Catheter has been removed and I seem to have retained control. Which was worrisome. For now, it’s just a slow path for the incisions to heal.

Get our mine out of your body, get busy with something, stay positive.

At least you are on the right path to healing. :thumb:
